The eagle banner is the banner of the Messenger Muhammad. It is made of black wool. Some narrators mentioned that the two testimonies, “There is no god but God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God,” are written on it, while a hadith by Abu Hurairah indicates that the banner of the Messenger, which is white in color, is known as the two testimonies. As reported, the Prophet Muhammad had a white flag and a black flag, and finally he had a black flag and a new one. Ali bin Burhan al-Din al-Halabi mentioned in his biography of Aleppo during the Battle of Badr that, with the exception of the Messenger Muhammad, there were two modern white and white flags, one of which was in the era of Ali bin Abi Talib and was called “Al-Aqab”, which was the flag of the Messenger, and the white flag adopted in the era of the Ansar.
